"The girl i met 10 years back"

It was a nice sunny morning,we landed at a place which we had never visited before,huge trees,clear sky,strange noises coming from the dense forests surrounding us,dad had just got posted to Missamari.

It's a very very small town in Assam,not even placed on the Indian Map,only the Indian Defense Forces can discover such places!

I was so lost,i could just see dogs around!School admissions had to be done,it was exciting as i was going to enter the 5th grade and could finally write with a pen.

Mom finally took me to the school and it was the most beautiful  one on earth..trees,flowers,accidental ponds made out of rainwater..it was heavenly!Gave all my tests and managed to impress the teachers as well,big thing then,just brings a smile on my face now.

Completed all the formalities and was asked to join the very next day,was a bit nervous,actually very nervous..so many questions were popping in my confused head.."will i make friends".."will i get good marks".."will the teachers scold me"..and they were just not ready to stop.

The day came and my journey in Army School Missamari began..i entered class and there were these two girls..a little nasty..standing in one corner..giving me looks..i managed to act normal.Surprisingly they came up to me and asked my name and general details..they introduced themselves and after that..we began chatting, it was like we had known each other for years,i felt so comfortable.

One of those two girls was Karishma Sehgal..who is my best friend since 10 years now,will complete 11 in the coming year,that day was the best day of my life,because that day i met a girl who genuinely loves me,always stood by me, cries when i do and always always tries and to  make me happy and even succeeds at it. 

All these years have been lovely because she has been a part of them,Missamari was a magical tenure,we were in a dreamland,at that time we were waiting for the best things that we thought were going to happen to us.With time we have seen the best and worst phases of each other's lives,also we have learnt that life is not a smooth sail,shit happens and we have to deal with it.

But that doesn't mean that the best things did not happen to us,the day we met,was the one when the real best thing happened,we became friends,friends for life and since then each and every moment spent together has been the best,so there are countless "best things" in our lives.

Karishma this is the smallest gesture from my side to let you know, how much you mean to me,even if the world goes upside down,i know you will be there,i just want to see you smiling always!
